Beer from Únětice

Thanks to our cooperation with the brewery in Únětice, which we started in December of last year, we are now able to offer you draft unfiltered beer, namely Únětice 12° or 10°, the only catering company to do so. Unfiltered beer is becoming increasingly popular for its typical full flavour and now you have the great opportunity to try this delicious drink, together with the amazing food from our chefs.

About the beer

Beer from Únětice is produced using traditional technology with ingredients only from The Czech Republic, without any substitutes and additives or preservatives and stabilisers. Not only that, thanks to the presence of brewer's yeast, it is good for us as it contains many valuable substances - mainly vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

The history of brewery in Únětice

brewery The first mention of brewing in Únětice appeared in 1557. The brewery itself was probably built around 1710 - the date can be seen carved on the support pillars in the cellar. The largest brewery boom was in the second half of the 19th century, when the brewery accounted for the third largest amount of beer produced in the Smichov district of Prague. Light and dark beers from Únětice were brewed and distributed in both barrels and individual bottles. Before the end of World War II brewing was suspended for a time, but from 1945 beer was brewed again until the year 1949. Later the brewery was nationalized and in 1951 it closed

The present situation

In 2010 Mr. and Mrs. Tkadlecovi began to prepare a project for the rebirth of the brewery in Únětice.They bought the building and immediately began construction work. The building had to be structurally altered to accommodate modern production of beer, but still retains the original atmosphere. The first sample of the new born beer from Únětice was brewed on 15th June 2011, since when and its distribution and the number of places where you can enjoy it have continuously grown.
